Month Two

Dear Cole,
Last week you turned two months old. Wow! Time is flying by. The last few weeks have become more challenging with you, as you have decided you're not quite happy with breast milk and your little baby tummy is upset quite often. This is starting to become a concern for your mom and dad as we aren't sure what to do to make you feel better. The good news is we are going to see your doctor next week and are hoping she can help us out, so you can feel better.

On a brighter note, two nights before you turned 6 weeks old, you slept for 5 hours. It was so wonderful, and so far you have been doing this on a fairly regular basis. Now if we can only change the timing of that long sleep to make it from 9pm - 2pm your momma would be a little less grumpy.

You have been gaining weight steadily and are over 10lbs, which I cannot believe. We have had to make the switch in your clothes to the 3-6months. (When we brought you home at less then 6lbs I did not think we would ever get to this point, especially not before you turned 3 months old. It is wonderful that you are growing so well, but SLOW down would you, it's hard to see you getting so big.

We are still waiting to see if your eyes are going to change colour, they have stayed a beautiful dark grey since you joined us in this world, but we don't know if they will change or not. I do love the colour so much I hope they remain, but this is not for me to decide and will take whatever we get. I doubt you will be any less beautiful if they do change.
So much has happened since you were born and we are so fortunate to have you here. I can't wait to share with you the changes of the next month. Yey for us!

Hi, I do not know you, but am a friend of Taryn and eventually found my way to your blog through her links. And now I am addicted because who can resist cute baby pictures? I just had to say that the first picture of this post is just priceless... the adoring look in his eyes while he looks up at you melts my heart, so I can just imagine what it does to yours! Enjoy every moment, sleep deprivation and all! (And thanks for sharing and bringing me back to those moments with my girls, just a few years ago!)
